With the new XBus lines, Vestische and DSW21 are providing high-quality and modern regional express transport in the Emscher-Lippe region. The features: few stops, short journey times and a better connection to the railway.
Vestische and DSW21 thus offer a good alternative to the car, especially for commuters in cities without their own railway station and in rural regions.

The X13 connects Datteln, Waltrop and Dortmund, where it runs through Mengede, Huckarde and Dorstfeld to the Technology Park. At Mengede station, there are train connections to Duisburg and Düsseldorf, among others.
Attractive for students, professionals and tourists who want to visit the Hansa coking plant, an industrial monument.
DSW21 Transport Director Hubert Jung comments: "In our "Dortmund.Mobil 2030" position paper, we outlined a large number of measures and projects with which we want to make our services even more attractive and efficient against the backdrop of the transport transition.
The launch of the X13 XBus line now heralds the start of the implementation phase. In particular for our Dortmund university campus and the technology centre, this will create a precisely tailored new connection to the catchment area in the northern Ruhr region. "We are confident that the X13 will be well received by our passengers as a coherent addition to the regional rail services."
