DOnight: More night transport for better networking
With DOnight, DSW21 is optimising the night-time public transport service by extending light rail journeys and adapting night express lines. Night transport will be better connected to the main railway station.
Extension of light rail and bus journeys
The light rail lines U41, U42, U43, U44, U45 and U46 will run daily between midnight and 1 a.m. at 15 or 30-minute intervals. The journeys will then replace the night express bus journeys previously offered during this time. In addition, the operating times of some important bus routes (416, 427, 440, 445, 447, 448 and 450) will be adjusted and extended to ensure connections to the light rail system.

Tickets and prices
The NachtExpress is part of our regular fare programme. You can use all the usual tickets and season tickets. If you don't have a ticket yet, you can buy one conveniently from our ticket machines, the DSW21- or the DOtick app to purchase one.
