Travelling by bus and train with a rollator

Navigating buses and trains with a rollator can be a challenge. Our rollator training gives you the opportunity to practise getting on and off the rollator without time pressure and to ask questions.

We offer group training sessions for groups of 6 or more directly in your neighbourhood. We occasionally organise open training sessions for interested individuals.

If you are interested in group training or the dates for open events, simply send us an informal e-mail.

With a wheelchair or e-scooter on buses and trains

Mobility plays an important role in our everyday lives. For people who use a wheelchair or e-scooter, navigating public transport is often characterised by additional challenges.

At our depot in Brünninghausen, we offer workshops for individuals and groups to practise boarding and alighting outside of regular services, learn more about safety while travelling and ask questions.

If you are interested, please send us an e-mail.

The light rail station and ticket machines

Using the "Stadtgarten" stop as an example, we will show you how to orientate and navigate a stop. In addition to exploring the light rail stop, we will provide you with information and explanations about the safety equipment at our facilities.

We also offer training on how our ticket machines work to make it easy for everyone to buy tickets. This offer takes place on site in your city district.

Both training courses are available for groups of 6 people or more.

Our apps and website

During our app training course, we will show you how to install and use the DSW21 app and the DOtick app on your own or loaned devices. This will give you an overview of how to obtain timetable information, buy tickets, edit subscriptions or view traffic reports.

We also offer a similar service for our website. In the workshop, we explain how to search for a connection, find important information such as timetables or use the contact form.

Both offers are available for groups of 6 people or more.
