A mysterious death: a woman is found dead after a house fire. Suspected cause of death: smoke inhalation. She had previously lived with her daughter in a women's refuge for several weeks. Was her death a tragic accident? To find out, Rosa Herzog goes undercover in the women's refuge.
And of course she is not alone. She is accompanied by her colleagues Peter Faber and Ira Klasnic, together with the WDR television team.
Shooting starts at the "Westentor"
The Tatort team is back in Dortmund and will be filming in the city until 2 October. The start of filming and the media event for the new Tatort took place at the "Westentor" tram stop. Some Tatort fans had also gathered at the stop and watched as the official photos for the episode were taken.
Some will certainly remember the Tatort episode at the beginning of 2023, when the team was already investigating in Dortmund. In the episode "Love is Pain", a light rail driver was found murdered in his vehicle. It will be some time before the new Dortmund case can be seen on television. It is scheduled to be broadcast in 2025.
