Scavenger hunt with geocaching
Numerous caches are hidden throughout the city. So if you fancy a search for clues, you can try geocaching. The GPS scavenger hunt has been a popular leisure activity in Germany for many years. You can find hidden caches in the area online and in geocaching apps.
Some are easy to find, others require brains and skill. With so many to choose from, there is definitely the right treasure hunt for beginners and pros!

Cycle tours through the Ruhr region
There are some beautiful routes in the Ruhr region that can be travelled by bike. We have already presented some of them in our blog. You can also find inspiration on sites like Komoot about where you can cycle everywhere. Maybe it's worth packing a few things for a picnic and getting on your bike with friends or family.
Skywalk Phoenix West
See Dortmund from above. You can do this from the Skywalk on Phoenix-West. Following renovation work, the first section has been reopened and will soon be accessible again. When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the magnificent view from a height of 26 metres.
Frisbee Golf
Frisbee golf, also known as disc golf, is a mixture of gold and frisbee throwing. The aim is to throw the Frisbee into a catch basket from a launch point. Various courses and obstacles have to be mastered.
Revierpark Wischlingen has a variety of courses where you can put your frisbee skills to the test. Use is free of charge. If you don't have your own discs, you can hire them from the park.
