Bucket list for the autumn
Status: 18.09.25
Colourful leaves, warm tea and cosy blankets: Autumn is getting closer and closer. But just sitting at home is out of the question for us. That's why we've put together a bucket list for you with the things you should definitely do in autumn.
Have fun!
Go for a walk in the forest
When the leaves turn colourful in autumn, forests are particularly beautiful. A walk on a beautiful autumn day is not only relaxing, you can also discover many things.
Keep your eyes peeled for unusual mushroom formations, shy forest dwellers and flowers that you may never have consciously noticed before.

Picking apples
Autumn is apple season. If there is an opportunity to pick your own apples in your neighbourhood, you should take advantage of it! With friends, family or on your own. The apples taste much better on their own or in a cake if you have picked them yourself. It's also a great way to make the most of sunny autumn days and do something in the fresh air.

Visit the pumpkin festival
What's a must in autumn? Pumpkins, of course! If there's a farm near you, see if they organise a pumpkin festival. You can often get varieties there that are not available in the supermarket and there are usually lots of activities for adults and children. For example, you can carve your own Halloween pumpkin on the farm.
Handicrafts with chestnuts
Many people will remember them from their primary school days: funny little men and animals made from chestnuts and toothpicks. Go outside, collect chestnuts and let your imagination run wild. You can make dogs and cats or dragons and unicorns. There are no limits to your imagination here.

Cooking together
When it's raining outside, there's often little desire to leave the house. Instead, you can try out delicious recipes with friends or family. Choose a dish, get the ingredients and start chopping! For example, a delicious pumpkin soup or an autumn vegetable casserole. When you cook together, it tastes so much better afterwards.
